The fit out of the Cobalt 9C four storey office building, the base build for which had been completed in 2012. As a brief the client supplied layouts showing sub division of the open plan floors creating cellular spaces along with furniture layouts for all rooms. Each level is generally open plan with meeting rooms both within open plan spaces and forming suites at the main access point to each floor. The ground floor plan has a greater concentration of cellular spaces adjacent to the atrium to provide support and ancillary facilities. Large kitchen and break out areas are also located off the open plan areas at each level. In the prime space above the atrium at fourth floor a flexible space was created acting as a café and break out area but able to be converted into a VIP meeting room serviced by kitchen for executive dining.
